The system we use for our consultations is the most important part of the window tinting process.
I can’t tell you the countless times I have seen the wrong film choice applied to a home or business.
Our goal is for you to enjoy your windows all day without the need to obstruct your view with window treatments. Whether it is residential window tinting or commercial window tinting, we will find the correct film to meet your requirements.
Since our films often last more than 20 years we want you to be confident the correct window film has been recommended.
Our consultations usually take about one hour and after we are finished you will be completely informed on what the films look like, how each one performs, and the exact cost.
What windows are you interested in tinting?
We review the number, size and shape of the windows you want to tint.
What solutions are you interested in?
- Fading of furnishings and floors
- UV and UVB Ray Protection
- Heat Gain & Energy Savings
- Protection from Break-ins
- Decorative film
- All or some of the above
Where are the windows facing?
We evaluate the direction of the window orientation to south, west, east, or north
Evaulate the Room & Furnishings
We evaluate what in your house is being exposed to sunlight and the sensitivity of those materials to sunlight.
Examples of this would be red furniture and rugs fade faster than any other color, and wood is more sensitive to the sun than other materials such as leather and textiles.
What type of room and what is the room for?
Does the room have any views you would like to enjoy more?
An example of this is a great room compared to a bedroom because people typically spend a significant amount more time during the day in a great room than a bedroom, and the solution will vary depending on your needs.
Applying Film Samples
After evaluating your needs, we apply film samples to the windows you want to tint, label them, and educate you on the differences and similarities between the different types of film.
We then offer recommendations on what films make sense in various rooms.
Review pictures of completed installations
This allows you to have an idea of what the finished product will look like
Measuring and Pricing
We measure your windows and give you an itemized price breakdown of the different film options per room
Your Questions and Your Evaluation of the Film Samples
We answer any questions you have, and the film samples will stay up after we leave because it is always a good idea to see what they look like different times of day and in different weather conditions.
We want clients to take their time to make the correct and informed decision based on their tastes and preferences.
