A New Year...

Is It Time For A New View?

New Year- New View

Have you made any New Year’s Resolutions?  Did you know that improving your surroundings can improve your mood?  Let’s face it, it’s hard to get motivated in the coldest, darkest part of the year.  What if you could improve your outlook by changing….your outlook?

Clear View Window Film Solutions can help you let some light into your home without the glare that comes with winter sun.  We also offer products that can help insulate your windows from the cold, or both.

Enjoy natural light while reading or watching TV — without suffering from eyestrain caused by glare. Seeing clearly will improve your efficiency when working (or playing) on a laptop, computer or other mobile devices.  Imagine reclaiming your sunny rooms for work or relaxation without hiding behind blinds- and enjoying every room in your house from sunrise to sunset!

Insulate your windows from penetratingly cold temperatures with 3M™ Low-E Window Films. It’s like upgrading from single-pane to double-pane or from double-pane to triple-pane windows.  This helps reflect and disperse heat back into the room, reduce cold spots, and improve comfort during cold winter months.  It also helps save on heating and cooling costs year round!

What about a new interior design?  Check out how small changes can make a big impact on the inside of your home or office through the use of fabric inspired designs for your bathroom or bold colors and logo designs for your office.

Whatever changes you have imagined for the new year, we can help you choose just the right product solution and ensure your “outlook” improves.  So get ready to start one of the easiest resolutions to keep.

Winter Sun Glare

Winter Sun Glare

Increase Your Comfort Indoors

Winter Sun Glare and Your Windows.

Did you know the angle of the sun is considerably lower all winter long, between the winter and summer solstices?  This means that during the winter months, the sun may have a direct line through your windows.  Bare wintertime trees also contribute to greater winter sun glare during the fall and winter months. Areas that might be shaded by foliage during warmer months will now let sun directly through your windows.

There’s a reason the term “snow blindness” was coined… snow amplifies glare tremendously. Even indoors, snow glare can make a room too bright, unpleasant, and washed out visually. This bright whiteness is even more uncomfortable than the glare of the light diffused by high clouds on an overcast day, and it bounces around off the snow and other surfaces right through your windows.

Whether it is blocking out the harmful UV rays, cutting down the glare, reducing the condensation on the windows, helping prevent fading to your interior and even providing insulation to your windows, Clear View Window Film Solutions can help you find the right film no matter what the season.

Do you have an abundance of glare and heat coming through your windows? Always have blinds or shades closed? High AC Bill? Open up your space to allow for full views of the beautiful winter season and increase your comfort indoors.  Let the Clear View team help you solve those issues with high-quality window films!

Lessons From the Eclipse

Lessons From The Eclipse

Solar Protection Year Round

The Great American Eclipse of 2017

The August 2017 eclipse was the first with a path of totality crossing the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of the U.S. since 1918. Millions of Americans had the opportunity to view at least part of the event, but with a vital tool- solar eclipse glasses.

Demand was so high for solar eclipse glasses in the days leading to the eclipse that they were nearly impossible to find. Prices soared up to $50 a pair for what retailed for $1.99 weeks earlier.

Thanks to nationwide outreach and education from NASA and other organizations, people from coast to coast learned proper eye protection was vital to safely view this amazing event without risking permanent eye damage.

Sun Protection 365 Days A Year

At Clearview Window Tinting, we also strive to educate our community on how important solar protection is for long term exposure to the interior of homes and businesses.  This also includes the health of the people who live in, work in, and visit your home or business.

Solar heat comes from two primary sources, the visible light you can see and the infrared light you can feel.

Prestige Series window films use non-metalized, multi-layer optical film and nano-technology to reject up to 97% of the sun’s infrared light and reject up to 60% of the heat coming through your windows. These films also reject up to 99.9% of damaging UV rays to reduce fading of your furnishings.

UVA rays are 30 to 50 times more prevalent and are present with relatively equal intensity during all daylight hours throughout the year. Window film can help prevent harmful UVA rays from damaging both your skin and your belongings. (SkinCancer.org)

So save your eclipse glasses for the next solar eclipse in the United States in 2024, and remember to protect your home, business, and your health in the long term with 3M Window Film.

The Skin Cancer Foundation has awarded its Seal of Recommendation to window films manufactured by 3M and professionally installed by the experts at Clear View Window Tinting.
